In relation to Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 8/5/PBI/2006 dated January 30, 2006 about Banking Mediation and No. 10/1/PBI/2008 dated January 29, 2008 concerning Amendment to Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 8/5/PBI/2006 about Banking Mediation, herewith we inform that Bank Indonesia has been facilitating Banking Mediation to help dispute settlement between Bank and their Customers which have been processed through the Bank

Submission for Settlement of Dispute: |
- The dispute has been proposed settlement efforts by the Customer to the Bank evidenced by the receipt of complaints and complaint resolution or a letter issued by the Bank;
- The dispute is not currently being processed or has not been decided by an arbitrary institution or a court of law, or there has been no agreement facilitated by another mediation agent, and has never been processed through Banking Mediation facilitated by Bank Indonesia ;
- The dispute is a civil dispute;
- The dispute settlement submission through Banking Mediation is expired in 60 (sixty) working days since the date of the bank’s letter regarding claim settlement result to the customer;
- The value of the financial claim in Banking Mediation is up to maximum IDR 500,000,000.00 (Five Hundred Million Rupiahs), which may consist of cumulative value of the financial loss already suffered by the Customer, the potential loss due to postponement or the non-execution of the customer's financial transactions with another party, and or expenses already paid by the customer to obtain the settlement of the dispute;
- Financial claim does not cover immaterial losses. Definition of "value immaterial losses" includes losses due to acts of defamation and unpleasant.
- Submitted in written by filing out a Dispute Settlement Form which can be downloaded at Bank Sinarmas’s website and it should be done by attaching these documents:
- The copy of dispute resolution letter from the Bank
- The copy of valid Customer ID
- The copy of supporting documents related to the dispute
- The copy of letter of attorney, if the submission of the dispute resolution delegated to others
