Born Surabaya, on December 25, 1950.

Obtaining Master of Economy's Degree in Accounting Department from Ilmu Mahardika School Surabaya in 1986 and Master of Management's Degree at Postgraduate Work (S2) Faculty of Indonesia University in 1991.
His career began from PT. Panggung Elektronik Industri Surabaya as the manager, marketing director, and deputy managing director from 1987 to 1988.
His career in the banking sector began from PT. Rama Bank Tbk, Jakarta. Consecutively, he was promoted as the internal audit director (from 1988-1989), credit and marketing director (1989-1991), planning and development director (1991), the Director of Treasury and International Banking (1991-1999), and lastly the member of Temporary Manager Team.

After resigining from PT. Rama Bank Tbk, he joined PT. Tiara Asia Bank Tbk. Jakarta as the Director of Treasury and International Banking (1999-2000) and the Team Coordinator in Danamon Bank ex Tiara Operation Merger Bank (2000). He joined Prima Express Bank Jakarta in 2000 as the Director of Treasury and International Banking until amidst 2002. His further position is the Member of Supervisory Team.
Since 2003, he becomes the Commissioner of Sinarmas Bank.
