Born in Cibadak, on September 30, 1947, Indonesian citizen. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Atma Jaya Catholic University Jakarta in 1970.
Started his career in banking began in the HSBC branch in Jakarta as an Accounting & Bills Department Staff (1970 - 1972), then the Citibank branch in Jakarta as the Officer in Charge of Accounting & Current Accounts Department (1972-1976). His career continued in the BCA, with positions ranging from Lampung branch head, then head of the Division of Finance & Treasury, Logistics, Human Resources and Retail Banking (1976-1994).
He joined the Bank LTCB Central Asia as Deputy President Director (1994 - 1997), later served as President Director of Bank Yama (1997 - 1999). Rejoined the Bank BCA as Chief Risk Management & Compliance Division (1999-2002). At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Bank Sinarmas on December 22, 2003, was appointed as Director of Compliance. Then in October 2007 in accordance with the approval of Bank Indonesia appointed as an Independent Commissioner to the present.
