Indonesian Citizen, aged 59, domiciled in Jakarta. She graduated from Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana in Salatiga in 1986 with a Bachelor degree in Economics.

She began her career at PT Lima Sempurna Makmur in Semarang as a Finance Manager in 1986 and then as a Marketing Assistant Manager of PT Sulindafin in 1988-1989. She joined Bank Sinarmas in 1990 and even became a member of the core team for the establishment of Bank Sinarmas (formerly Bank Shinta). During her career at Bank Sinarmas, Tjendrawati has held various strategic positions, from deputy branch manager and branch manager (1992–2001); Credit and Marketing Group Leader of Bank Shinta (2001-2002); Director of Credit and Marketing (2001-2002); to President Director of Bank Sinarmas (2003-2010).

She was appointed as President Commissioner of Bank Sinarmas on April 20, 2010 based on the decision of the Extraordinary GMS on December 21, 2009. Bank Indonesia then approved the decision on April 20, 2010 and she was reappointed in the position based on the decision of the annual GMS on June 13, 2014.

It is also noteworthy that Tjendrawati Widjaja does not have any family or financial relationship with other members of the Board of Commissioners, members of the Board of Directors, and Controlling Shareholders.
