Appointing 2 New Directors, Bank Sinarmas Confident Strengthening Digital Banking Business Strategy

Jakarta, July 12, 2023 On July 11, 2023, Bank Sinarmas effectively appointed two new members of the Board of Directors, namely Ms. Enny Kamal and Mr. Sendy. The appointment was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PT. Bank Sinarmas Tbk, which was held at Sinarmas Land Plaza, Thamrin, on June 27, 2023.

"Bank Sinarmas is optimistic that the new composition of the Board of Directors will be able to help strengthen various bank digital business innovation programs in the future for the progress of Bank Sinarmas," said Frenky Tirtowijoyo, President Director of Bank Sinarmas.

Mrs. Enny Kamal, a graduate of the Bachelor of Economics in Accounting at HKBP Nommensen University Medan (1989), will assume the position of Operations and Data Analytics Director at Bank Sinarmas. Previously, She had experience in the banking sector, holding the position of Head of Regional Office at Bank Central Asia (2019–2022). Head of KCU at Bank Central Asia (2012-2019), Head of Marketing & Business Development Medan Branch at Bank Central Asia (2009-2012), Head of Regional Operations 5 at Bank Central Asia (2004-2009), and Head of Information Systems Affairs Regional Office V at Bank Central Asia (1998-2004).

And along with the other board of directors, Mr. Sendy, who has a Bachelor of Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (2001), will be in charge of the Information Technology and Digital Experience Director. He has served as Head of Product at PT Sinar Mas Mutiartha Tbk (2022) and as Independent Commissioner at Principal Asset Management (2020–2022).
