Bank Sinarmas Sharia Business Unit Encourages Optimization of KUR Distribution

MATARAM, March 31st, 2021 - Bank Sinarmas Sharia Business Unit always supports efforts to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), job creation, and poverty alleviation through financing, including providing credit guarantees for MSMEs through Sharia People's Business Credit (KUR).

Located at the Aston Lombok Hotel, the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Distribution of Sharia People's Business Credit (KUR) between Bank Sinarmas, the Sharia Business Unit and strategic partner PT. Manggala Jaya Utama Sampali.

The implementation of the Cooperation Agreement is a form of real support and participation of Bank Sinarmas Sharia Business Unit in growing the economy, especially the MSME sector through KUR financing, especially for cattle breeders in the West Nusa Tenggara region.

“The implementation of this PKS is clear evidence that Bank Sinarmas has always supported government programs and especially as a channeling bank, of course, supports people-based economic empowerment programs. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that it can encourage more productive economic activities so as to create sustainable economic growth, and breeders can set aside their income for future needs such as children's education, increasing the scale of livestock and preparing for the pilgrimage. In addition, we also have facilities for breeders to be able to carry out the 5th pillar of Islam through Simas Haji savings," said Halim as Director of Bank Sinarmas UUS.

Bank Sinarmas Sharia Business Unit is one of several Sharia Banks appointed by the Government as a distributor of Sharia People's Business Credit (KUR). This is in line with Bank Sinarmas Syariah's work program to become a Healthy and Leading Islamic Bank in Indonesia with a complete distribution network and excellent service in providing Islamic Banking Financial Solutions.

In this activity, Bank Sinarmas Sharia Business Unit through the Sinarmas Muslim Foundation distributed Waqf of 500 Al-Quran manuscripts to Zulkieflimansyah, the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara and provided scholarships to students in several Islamic boarding schools in the West Nusa Tenggara region.
