The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia held a KUR Fintech Festival activity with the theme "Forward Developing with KUR and Proud to be Made in Indonesia," which was held on May 18–19, 2022, located at SOLO TECHNO PARK, with the agenda of KUR distribution and the MSME Exhibition. Aims to increase access to financing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the national economic recovery with a target of disbursing People's Business Credit (KUR) in 2022 of 373.17 trillion KUR. To achieve this distribution target, synergy and support from various parties are needed, both from local governments, MSME players, associations, and all stakeholders.
The KUR Fintech Festival activity in Surakarta City was attended by Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Deputy Mayor of Solo Teguh Prakosa, Deputy for Coordination of Macroeconomics and Finance as Secretary of the Financing Policy Committee for MSMEs, Iskandar Simorangkir, Bank Sinarmas Mukti Wibowo as MSME Group Head, Zaheri as Micro Loan Division Head, and Handoko Prasetyo Branch Manager of KC Solo-Urip Sumoharjo, as well as 15 (fifteen) KUR distributing banks and credit guarantee/financing companies.
The agenda for the KUR Fintech Festival event included signing credit and financing agreements offline and online as well as providing mockups to customers and debtors receiving KUR from 15 KUR distributing banks, for a total of 1,829 customers and debtors with a ceiling of Rp. 160,207,000,000,-.
"With this KUR Fintech Festival, Bank Sinarmas supports government programs by taking a role in maximizing KUR distribution and synergizing with all stakeholders as a manifestation of its real role in advancing MSMEs in order to improve the Indonesian economy. As of 2022, Bank Sinarmas will distribute KUR with a total ceiling of 1.5 trillion in all branches throughout Indonesia, with a target of distribution to more than 6,600 customers", said Muktiono Wibowo.
